Prague and Vienna are without a doubt the two most beautiful cities of Central Europe.Prague, bisected by the Vltava River, is the romantic, cozy, beautifully preserved, and full of mysterious cobblestone side streets. Vienna, on the other hand, is the stately, officious,Hapsburgian, old-school imperial city located on the magnificent Danube River. Transfers between the capitals are done by coach or rail, but we can also arrange a private transfer, if requested.
Budapest, Vienna, and Prague were the richest and most glamorous cities of the Hapsburg Empire and its successor, the Austro-Hungarian Empire. They were also home to important Jewish communities whose rabbis wrote works that guided Jews everywhere and which produced writers in modern times whose works have touched every person of culture. In all three cities, nineteenth-century modernization brought about important and fascinating changes in Jewish thought and the Jewish way of life.
The historic centre of Vienna proposed for inclusion in UNESCO’s World Heritage List constitutes a uniquely preserved town monument which is of outstanding universal value from the point of view of history, cultural history and art.
